Sharing My Day With Our Lord In Heaven.

September 30, 2010. Thursday
Today while I do my work in my yard I will think about a member of our family that is receiving radiation treatment for six weeks. My sister-in-law had surgery, some type of uterus related surgery where there was a malignancy. My brother tells me that they believe the cancer was removed , but for precautionary reasons, six weeks of radiation must be administered to her.
She is staying in "Hope" hospital. On weekends her family brings her home. I sincerely hope and pray that our Lord can help her. I think about her day, and night .
Today while I remove and cut grass I will pray for many friends , and good people on Hub Pages that I know have health issues too.
My wife and daughter or sleeping this morning. The cool air that has come in is a God send. They are both sleeping so comfortably in their bed.
I thawed out some frozen chicken, and now I am cooking it in the microwave. I placed four pieces of chicken in a microwaveable glass flat bowl, and covered the top of the bowl with a dish. In fifteen minutes it should be cooked and it will be shared with some hungry cats. As everyone knows, Gray Fox must have his cooked chicken.
We eat the chicken as well. COOKING TIP: If you would like to take hot cooked chicken off of bones, place it in a large bowl of cold water.
Run cold water on the chicken in your sink . While the cold water is running on it, break and pull pieces away from the bones with a fork because the chicken will be hot until it all cools. Be careful not to burn yourself with hot chicken.
The chicken will cool quickly and it will easily be able to be removed from the bones. As you remove it, place it into a container to use as you wish, but all ways refrigerate meat , or freeze it, and if you choose not to, then use it right away. Cooked or frozen chicken can be frozen for later use.
The bones, and parts of your chicken that you will not use that must be thrown away are better off bagged and frozen until your garbage service comes to take your garbage away. By freezing it, you will not have a bad odor in your garbage can. Any kind of decaying bones , or fat from your cooked , or raw chicken can attract possums , or varmints to your trash can. By freezing unwanted parts of meat, all you need to do is remove it from your freezer , and place it in the garbage before pickup service arrives.
As I am writing, my sweet cat Boo, has arrived. He has jumped on my desk again , and has taken a nap right next to my arm. He has a few fleas I see that I will have to destroy. Our cat Peanut keeps bringing in fleas from outdoors and they jump on our indoor cats. It is a constant war against fleas around our house. I am going to spread flea poison outside, all around our place, spray our house again, and treat the cats again. All because of one feral cat that goes in , and out of our house.
I can not leave Peanut outside. She likes to come in ,and out to eat and to see her four cats that were her kittens. All our cats have either been neutered or spayed accept for two females that stay inside. Eventually I may have them spayed as well, but they are a little old, and I am not sure if it is a good idea. Joann will help me decide on the matter.
Well it is now daybreak. I have just seen the light of day from my window from our home office. I hate to disturb Boo, but it is time for me to do a few things in the house , and think about whether I will go outside early or not.
God Bless Everyone

Hello stars439
I send lots of good wishes and love to your sister-in-law. I hope you and your family and your lovely cats are all well. Our dog Toby loves chicken too. But I think he'd eat anything now he's getting old. He seems to want to eat all the time.
Warmest wishes to you all.
