My Ongoing Journal Of Our Lives.
August 24,2010 Tuesday.
Some of my hubs are kind of like entries one might enter in a journal. Hub Pages and our friends are our connection to the outside world.
We are not locked in our home , but we live in it a lot because we have our physical difficulties.
My wife Joann takes caqre of our daughter Becky. Maybe someday Becky will walk. It is in our prayers.
Since I am not publishing books I enjoy writing about almost anything.
My sweet Joann is of course the mother of our daughter that may never walk which would explain her answer.
Surely she loves Becky and so do I. Our hearts have suffered many long years because we have always wanted Becky to have a nice life, and that has not been allways easy.
Early this morning I pulled myself out of bed , and carefully walked to a kitchen chair with two walking canes. I decided to thaw out some chicken so I did. I microwaved it, ran cold water over it and separated the chicken from the bones.
I cut the cooked chicken in pieces , and then put about a pound of it, or a good hand full of it in a large flat bowl.
I found a small box of Caribbean Vegetable mix. I poured that in the bowl. I opened a can of corn that was in kernels. I opened a can of mixed vegetables. I poured them into the bowl. I cooked some smoke sausage , about half a pound of it and poured the drippings of it in a bowl, and added the sausage that Icut in small pieces. I also added about three cups of water . I covered the bowl with a heavy dish and microwaved it all for twenty five minutes, like the box directions recommended.
I also fixed Gray Fox his breakfast which was chicken. The cat loves chicken.
Joann woke up and came into the kitchen. I told her the food was cooked and plenty of it. Becky was still sleeping, but today she ate some of it with her mother.
Joann said the food was good. If you use fresh frozen vegetables it would taste better, but thank the Lord we had what we had and we are grateful for it. The rice mix or any rice mix can be found in any supermarket at and economical price.
Oh well ! Enough of my cry baby tunes. Our sorrows are nothing ice cream and chocolate want cure. Joann bought some delicious sugar cones for a dollar at the GUESS WHAT ! THE DOLLAR STORE !
Simply scoop some ice cream on a sugar cone and then dip your cone in the NUTS of your choice , and pour some chocolate syrup on the ice cream. You almost have a Nutty Butty. And they want cost you and arm and a leg. or the kitchen sink, or the farm, or a mortgage on your home. These homemade ice creams will not cost you your marriage, the diaper money, your mates virginity, your first born child, or even a monkey and organ
The ice cream can be done this way. Pour some chocolate syrup in a bowl.Put some peanuts in your chocolate syrup . Now scoop ice cream and put it on your sugar cone, Dip your ice cream cone into your chocolate syrup and peanuts. It will be delicious. You can make them until Kingdom Come Thy Will Be Done On earth as It Is In Heaven.
I like prayers. God Bless Everyone.
Time to go fix them ,and I some ice cream.
God Bless Everyone.
