We just found out my son and his wife both have to work the evening shift Christmas Day so we will have our granddaughter here for supper. Now I'm in the mood to cook! I bought some ham pieces from Walmart for Gary and I and there are some nice sized slices in the package. I'll make a nice ham dinner with all of the trimmings now and some deserts too. Gary would just as soon eat a sandwich so it's not as much fun to cook but she loves a good meal, plus having a child around at Christmas is the nicest present I can think of. I hope you and your family have a very blessed Christmas!

Children are the very essence of Christmas as they anticipate the wonders of Santa, sleigh bells, and all the trimmings of wonder, and exciting joy in the beauty of Christmas. Dear Gloshei : Thank you very much for writing dear, and precious heart. Pasta gravy is just my way of saying red Italian gravy. Soon as I get the chance I will write down what I find out about Italian gravy. My mother, and every Italian mom are the experts. Sons usually just hunt for meatballs that are cooked in the gravy. Most expert Italian gravy makers would consider what I do to gravy somewhat off the books because I put a lot of sugar in my gravy. The important thing is the tomatoe sauce. I usually buy a bunch of cans of tomatoe sauce, add onions, garlic, italian seasoning mixes, a little salt, a little pepper, and lots of sugar. I add ground beef that was cooked, and sauted over the stove. I love to add smoke sausage, chopped green or red peppers, sometimes shallots chopped. I will do more research , and write a hub about it. Becky likes canned ravioli. She likes every kind of pasta. She likes Alfredo stuff, Beef and pasta mixed. Mom used to put a lot of meatballs, or stew beef meatin gravy. Come to think of it I need to cook sme one day with stew meat. God Bless You, And Merry Christmas Eve, Day, And Have A Happy New Year.
