Sweet Life, The Bible, And God.

Decemer 27, 2009

I read the Bible often. I have never read all of it so there are many people that can quote a lot of wonderful things that are written in it.

I am working on a project that involves a little Bible study. Believe me when I say that I am always learning new things and need all the education I can get.

The Bible states that God created Heaven and Earth. My faith in God enables me to believe this to be true. Could and intelligent power have created wonderful things like stars, galaxies, planets, solar systems, and so much more ?

Why is there a limit on life? According to the Bible, God gave us only a certain amount of it and we must fully belong either to him or somewhere else. To tell you the truth I dearly love my wife, my sweet Jo Ann, but I think when my time comes to cash in my chips I will be ready for my judgement day.

I am pretty sure Jo Ann will go to Heaven. All she ever does is go to the post office and to the grocery store ,and pay bills, and talk about aches and pains like I do. Generally speaking my wife is a very strong woman. She has lifted our daughter for more than thirty years. Oh I help, but no man can ever out work a mother dedicated to her children. My wife is very sweet and loving, however she could drop kick a wart hog straight to Jupiter.

There is this evolutionary concept that has been talked about a while, So why does my heart, lungs, kidneys, and bones, become old ? I suppose the consideration of re manufacturing them was not part of the evolutionary agenda. Maybe evolution went fishing when that bit of good idea zipped on by. I want knock evolution too awfully bad because I do think it plays some rolls in existence, however I would like to believe that we involve a lot of the work of God more than anything else.

Our blood changes. Most of our cells change. Why is it that our body has not found a way to create a new heart, new lungs, new kidneys, new bones and other organs so that we could live much longer ? I thought evolution intended for life to become a better working organism ? What could be a better human? Maybe one that is capable of renewing itself forever.

The Bible states that we will only live a certain amount of time.

They say evolution has had billions of years to create changes in life forms so what has it been doing all that time? If this earth could have such large creatures as dinosaurs, then why not have a man with accessories such as extra organs, or simply renewable tissue all the time. Why not? Maybe that is not what God wanted in his designs.

I do not want to live forever. I have had enough of television reruns. I do not want to see Gilligan's Island forever. I think that would be worst than hell to see the poor victims of the Minow stranded forever on an island.

Trillions and billions of life forms live on Earth, but everything must pass on. Spirits seem to have and eternity about them. According to the Bible, God is the beginning and the end. He is Alpha and Omega. Spirits have more things to do, and a lot of places to go, and they do not need to pay bills, or worry about credit cards, or needing cash on hand.

What could God be ? Could God be the perfect intelligent form ? How intelligent could a human being ever become if it could live forever ? Unfortunately it would not do us a lot of good if we lived forever. Praying to the IRS surely would not pull off many miracles. And could you imagine what a life sentence for a crime would be like ?

I am not a young man anymore. I am happy when my family is happy. I am happy when people are generally happy. I have had my share of excitement in my life. I have known physical and emotional love. What I look forward to in life is having security for my family. I want my family and friends to be happy, and comfortable.

When I look at pictures of beautiful places on television, I wonder what it is like to climb a mountain, or to see a live volcano, or to see a beautiful sperm whale surfacing out of the sea ,or to swim in the ocean.

When I look at the stars, and into the vast endless space in the sky it all makes me wonder. So much beauty. Watching colorful trees shifting branches in the wind. Seeing and experiencing new life as it is born on earth. Seeing spectacles of all kinds occurring on our planet. Watching jets soar in the sky.

It is getting kind of late at my house. Everyone is sleeping accept me. Love is such a wonderful blessing. We have three bedrooms, a living room, two bathrooms, and a kitchen. However all of our ten cats are in one bed room where my wife and child sleep. Our animals want love just like we do. Last night our lovely large cat Boo slept under my blanket with me again.

The only thing I really need in life right now is better floors. I need to do a lot of repair work, but my age makes that difficult. I can not wait until I finish my song and surprise the world.

May Your Skies Be Blue, And God Bless You.

Whether it is to move a mountain, or get you new floors-God will hear your prayer-just ask Him.

Dear itakins: What a nice thing to say. I forget I could pray for my floors too. I always spend money on things we need. Seems like I can never get to my floor work.

Hope you and your family had a great Christmas. Happy New Year. Wishing you and your family many of our Lords finest blessings forever.
