Waiting For This Afternoon

Waiting For This Afternoon.
It is only about 1:00 P.M. in the early afternoon. In a few hours I will tackle the job again.
Joann and Becky are awake. Becky is resting in her electric motorized wheelchair. Her seat behind her back needs repair. I bought the pretty material for her chair. It is a lovely kind of mahogany color , and has the texture of soft leather. I have to figure out a way to sew it to her chair, or I may have to call the wheelchair folks to fix the chair for her. In any case the work will get done.
Maybe tomorrow I will visit a grocery store before working outside tomorrow as well.
Becky has been wanting to go outdoors. If we bring her outside it will be this afternoon or tomorrow.
The town office has been kind. They know we have Becky to take care of so they understand our situation.
Today I will burn a large shelf and try to burn at least half of a wall I tore down. It has to be sawed and burned.
I wish I could help Joann more around the hose, but I can not do the outdoor work , and indoor work too. I want to help her, but right now it is not easy, so I just help her with the lifting of Becky when I can.
I plan to cut more high weeds and limbs around our home. When I save up enough money I plan to repair the house next door to us that belonged to mom and dad.
It was mother's wish that someday we move into the house from our house trailer, but a storm tore off some electric lines from the house outside. These rotten storms and hurricanes keep us in the poor house. I am so disgusted over hurricane seasons that do nothing but bring so many people nothing but heartache and miserable poverty.
I was taking care of the house nicely. One day I come in from working a few years ago , and a tropical storm knocked down a large tree limb, and the limb pulled down the main line of electric to the breaker box outside. I had just put out five hundred dollars to fix a busted water line in mom and dad's old house. They are both dead. I try to keep up the house. I have limbs to cut around it also.
The good thing about all this is the exercise. My doctors wanted me to lose weight, so you can better believe I am doing it.
I like to work. I have always loved working under God's blue sky.
Today I wonder what Joann will cook. If she does not feel like cooking I will take a trip late this evening and pick up something they will like from the store.
God Bless You.
